Google Personlised Homepage Wierdness

Google have sort of half implemented a tabs feature on the Google Personalised Homepage. I know the Web 2.0 thing to do is to release early in beta but this is extracting the urine!
Its a great feature that lets you have multiple homepages, each with a different label so you can seperate work from liesure or geek stuff from sport – you get the idea.
I spotted the tabs feature first thing this morning on the google.co.uk domain, quickly set up a handful of different labels for SEO stuff, Web Development stuff and Personal things. I visited my homepage again tonight and all the tabs had dissapeared leaving the components/modules from all of them intact, but strewn all over my “default”, tabless homepage.
A quick visit to google.com and my tabs are place as expected. I guess G are in the process of rolling this out accross all the datacenters/domains but its not great having all those components strewn accross my homepage in the meantime!
Any other personalised homepage users experiencing this weirdness?
